The Lakers have been struggling as of late. Whats one thing similar between this season and last? The injuries. The Lakers were expected win the West last year. What happend? Injuries for the Lakers came left and right. Already without Kobe Bryant, Steve Blake, Xavier Henry, and now Pau Gasol, Los Angeles will continue to struggle even more.
In 30 games playing for Los Angeles, Henry averaged 10.4 points and 1.1 steals per game. On December 29th Xavier Henry suffered a strained right knee against the Philadelphia 76ers and did not return to the game.
Henry then got an MRI the next day and it was revealed he had suffered a bone bruise in his right knee, and that he was going be sidelined for 7-10 days and then get it checked out again.
Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times reported that Xavier Henry participated in light post-practice activities:
Xavier Henry did some running today and is shooting with teammates at the end of practice. His knee’s getting evaluated again tomorrow.

Eric Pincus of the LA Times added:
Henry will spend the next several days doing non-weight-bearing exercises.
Dr. Steve Lombardo of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic is to examine Henry, as previously scheduled, on Tuesday before the Lakers host the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With the potential setback, Henry’s return date remains unknown. He was originally diagnosed with the injury on Dec. 30 with a reevaluation planned in seven to 10 days.
